Selection Criteria - Guidelines
Players will be selected for Club Teams on the basis of:
- MERIT - Individual ability linked with squad/team commitment
- REGULAR AVAILABILITY
- POTENTIAL - A younger player with potential to improve his/her game may be given precedence over an older player considered to have reached his/her peak, in suitable games
- COMMITMENT TO TRAINING - personal circumstances will be taken into account
- DISCIPLINE
Notes:
- Players are members of the Club and not a specific team and are expected to honour the edicts of the Selection Committee.
- Members who believe that they have been unfairly treated in selection are advised to register their complaint with their Players Representative without delay.
